Avoid Creating Redflags on Your CV

Updated: Dec 4, 2020

Here are two of the most common ones I see, whether candidates do it intentionally or not :

1. Not specifying what months they started/ended their previous jobs.

2016-2017 = ❌

02/2016-09/2017 = ✔️

2. Not mentioning the names of their previous employers.

I've seen, for instance, 'big international bank in Brussels' as employer. 🤔

Why not mention which bank?

It's not a good idea to leave the reader feeling like he's being misled or deceived.

What other redflags would you add to the list?
