During the past months I've had conversations with various IT managers in Belgium and they've noticed that a bigger number of candidates/employees (in some cases even junior / medior ones):
- ask/care more about salary than content of the job
- ask/care more about remote work policy than salary
- are not willing to go the extra mile/count the minutes of work
This is their general feeling, and they sense this mentality shift happened rather fast.
Have you experienced the same?
Do you think this is a fair representation?
And, is this 'new mentality' here to stay or will we experience a moment where the tables will turn?
Hear other candidate and manager's thoughts here.
