Increasing Candidate Frustrations During The Recruitment Process

Throughout my years within the IT recruitment, I've had the chance to connect with hundreds of IT candidates in Belgium and I have seen first-hand the challenges they face when dealing with the current state of the recruitment industry.

Candidates today increasingly feel frustrated with the following issues:

1. Headhunting fatigue: Candidates are being approached via social platforms with too many messages that have little to do with their interests or profile.

2. Privacy and data leak: Candidates who are in high demand feel no one respects the handling of their sensitive information (their CV’s, personal emails, personal mobile numbers).

3. Time wasted: Candidates today have a feeling they are being cold-called / messaged too often from unknown hiring entities, which represents a waste of time during business hours.
