A few months ago, one my candidates retracted his acceptance to join a company.
The reason? - - It "didn't feel right".
The company made the highest salary offer I have seen for someone with his experience.
For him it would've been a big step-up financially, and that's what got him signing in the first place.
However, his gut feeling raised all the alarms and he listened.
Sometimes it's not the company offering the highest salary that attracts the best talent.
Never have candidates been more aware of their personal life-balance, the values they share with the company, and the type of management they will be working for.
Never has it been more important for companies to realize that the recruitment process is the first taste a candidate has of your company culture.
And that company culture matters!
